On-Demand Continuing Education ended July 31, 2023
You can still log in to complete your session surveys . You must complete all the surveys for the system to generate the email with your CE link. If you did not receive your CE link via email after completing the surveys, please email mbrewer@ncdental.org.
How long do we have to watch the On-Demand Annual Session courses?
The CE course are available for 2 months - May 31 - July 31, 2023. Courses will not be available after July 31, 2023.
I registered for the virtual CE with my in-person Annual Session registration. Do I need to register again?
No, you are automatically loaded into the virtual system. Click on the "Log In" button above starting May 31st. See below for more detailed instructions. You will also receive an email with instructions. If you did not opt for the virtual option, it is not too late. Please email Mary Kathryn Brewer at mbrewer@ncdental.org to add the additional fee.
I did not attend the Annual Session in-person. Can I still register for the virtual courses?
Yes, click on the "Register" button above. Scroll down for virtual-only fees.
Are all the in-person courses included in the on-demand CE?
No, Dr. Randy Huffines' lectures and Dr. John Olmstead's lectures are not available on-demand. Also, CPR and hands-on course courses are not available. All other courses are available on-demand until 11:59pm on July 31st. The courses will not be available after July 31st.
How do I log into the on-demand CE?
Registered attendees click on the "Log In" button above beginning May 31, 2023. If you registered as part of the on-site Annual Session registration, you were automatically loaded into the system. You do not need to re-register. After clicking the link to go to the virtual event, you will be prompted to log in. After entering your first name, last name, and email address, a verification code will be sent to your email and cell phone, if there’s a phone number on file. Enter in the verification code to access the event. Once you’re logged in, you will stay logged into the event for 24 hours if you accept website cookies. You will need to log back in and get a new verification code after 24 hours.
How do I view the on- demand CE?
Once logged into the hub, simply click on the "Watch CE Sessions" and then "On Demand" on the drop down menu. It will take you to all the courses and click on the course you want to view. You must watch it to completion for a survey to generate. Once you complete the course survey, you are marked as a participant.
Will I earn CE credit for on-demand courses?
Yes, all the courses are approved for NC State Board of Dental Examiners CE credit. Please note you will be emailed a separate CE form from the on-site meeting. If you took on-site and virtual coureses, you have 2 different CE forms. You will NOT earn CE credit unless you complete the entire course AND complete the course survey for each course. Continuing Education verification forms for the on-demand courses will be emailed after July 31, 2023.
